In this session David and I focus on day trading commodities in the US session and in particular gold which delivered some solid moves for speculative intraday traders and supported by the Quantum Trading tools and indicators.
I get this live session underway by looking at gold on the MT5 platform which using both renko and time based charts. MT5 is a true multi asset platform and a great place to start day trading commodities indices and stocks for novice trader. Then David takes over on NinjaTrader and the futures contracts for these markets, adding tick charts as a further blended option and using the Tickspeedometer indicator to deliver the precise tick speed setting for the charts. The renko optimiser then provides an additional view on the price action and yet another non time based chart to help with entry and exit points. Using renko charts, tick charts and time based charts together, provides a three-dimensional view of the price action giving day traders a unique view with all the pieces of the puzzle helping to provide a unified picture for clear and logical decision-making.
Finally we round off the session by considering the indices and in particular the ES emini which delivered some excellent points in a move lower towards the end of the session. And of course all our decision-making is supported by the cornerstone methodology of volume price analysis along with the Quantum Trading tools and indicators.
